Areas opens the first Carte D’Or Gelateria at Málaga Airport – Costa del Sol

Areas, the leading company in the Food&Beverage and Travel Retail sectors, has opened the first Carte D’Or Gelateria at Málaga Airport – Costa del Sol. Located in T3’s departure lounge, the premises consist of 50 square metres and has the capacity to accommodate up to 20 diners.

 

The Carte D’Or Gelateria lands at the Málaga airport with an innovative and attractive image and an offer that is sure to attract all types of customers. The ice cream parlour offers travellers a wide range of top-quality Carte D’Or ice creams made from more than 40 exclusive recipes consisting of carefully selected, world-renowned ingredients: Ecuadorian cacao, Gijón nougat or Madagascan vanilla. In addition, customers are able to sample ice creams of different varieties, presentations, sizes and specialities.

The ice cream parlour specialises in top-quality ice creams and its key to success is based on constant innovation: developing new recipes, adapting them to suit current market trends and improving the best-selling recipes.

Currently, Carte D’Or has more than 150 retail outlets nationwide distributed across different regions, amongst those Andalucía. Specifically, in Málaga, the ice cream chain has 1 retail outlet. With the opening of this new establishment at Málaga Aiport – Costa del Sol, Areas is backing a brand new ice cream proposal that adapts to new market trends, both in terms of ice cream parlour aesthetics (much more modern and elegant), as well as top-quality product offerings.

The opening of this new outlet is part of the allocation and implementation of 7 new establishments at Málaga Airport – Costa del Sol, after the competition held in cooperation with Aena for the renovation of the airport’s dining options.
